Police appeal over fatal collision

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road collision on Doncaster Road yesterday.
A male motorcyclist was travelling from the direction of the Wildcats' stadium towards Chantry Bridge at around 3.30pm when it was in a collision with a HGV that was travelling in the same direction.

The motorcyclist, who was riding a maroon coloured Suzuki, died at the scene.

Police have not released the identity of the deceased.

Anyone who witnessed the collision should contact the Roads Policing Department on 0845 6060606.
