A TEENAGER has today (Wednesday) been jailed after beating a 50-year-old man in Wakefield city centre.
Adam Lane, 19, of Park Lodge Lane, Eastmoor, attacked Polish bus driver Tadeusz Zwanta as he was withdrawing money from a cash point on The Springs on May 26.

Today (Wednesday) Leeds Crown Court heard he grabbed Mr Zwanta from behind before punching him twice in the head and neck.

Mr Lane, who had admitted wounding with intent at a hearing in July, was sentenced to 18 months in a young offenders' institute.

See this Friday's Express for more details.
