Five people to face murder trial next month over Wakefield flat death
Four men and a woman are accused of killing Aleksander Pawlak, whose was pronounced dead by paramedics at the property on Pinderfields Road shortly after midnight on September 9 last year.
The 30 year-old had suffered head injuries, police said at the time, who were called following a disturbance at the basement flat.

Hide AdMarceli Szymanski, 20, Michal Szymanski, 24, Maciaj Solarz, 28, and Karolina Kukawska, 21, all from Hampshire, with go on trial along with Adam Litwinowicz, 24, from Poland.
A short hearing was held via video link at Leeds Crown Court this afternoon where it was decided that the trial will begin on September 14.
It will be held at Bradford Crown Court because the court can provide enough space for social distancing.
It is expected to last two weeks.
